For the first time I am teaching a COLTRANE COURSE ONLINE: This is open to ANYONE on the planet Earth. Please note, this course is appropriate for people who already know a lot about Coltrane, as well as for those new to Coltrane. I'll be moving quickly, sharing rare and unreleased recordings, recent research, questions to explore, etc.

In Class 4, the last class, we will look at Coltrane’s most famous recording, A Love Supreme–and a newly released “live” version from Seattle! Coltrane’s music after the quartet–how to make sense out of his most avant-garde music. His death, his legacy, and a wealth of unreleased recordings and new discoveries.
